The February/March issue of Scotland Magazine is using 10 of my images in their Aberdeen/Grampians regional focus and my running 10 Best Lochs feature

I am pleased to say that Alamy, one of the biggest suppliers of stock photography in the world are now selling my images through their website, www.alamy.com. They supply images mainly to business', magazines, books etc and it is fantastic that they are representing my photographs.

January 2010

Happy New Year to everyone and I hope you are all coping with the wintry weather.

The 1-to-1 workshops are continuing to be a great success with several bookings already made for 2010. If you want to take advantage of the special winter offer of £100.00 for the day then you have until the end of February to take advantage of the price

It has been a great start to 2010 for Scottish Horizons. The Scots Magazine have put one of my mountain images on the front cover as well as running some of my winter images and my article on the wildlife artist John Threlfall.

Meanwhile TGO has published one of my Wild Walk articles on Corserine and my feature entitled 'Into the Light' which details a recent ascent of Cir Mhor on Arran for sunrise.

I have also been organising my 2010 talks with dates with several camera clubs having already been pencilled in.

December 2009

Well, here we are again - the big countdown to Christmas and a New Year. It has been a really good year for Scottish Horizons and I want to say a big thank you to all the people who have visited the site and for your comments; for everyone who has bought a print, postcard, greetings cards or calendar - it is greatly appreciated and your business is something I never take for granted. Also a big thank you to all the magazine editors and calendar publishers who continue to use my images in their publications. I hope everyone has a really good Christmas and New Year and I shall look forward to you visiting Scottish Horizons in 2010.

With Christmas fast approaching I am running my Christmas promotion again for prints and have reduced the price for all print sizes by 10%. Also if you are ordering a print as a Christmas present and you place an order before the 10th of December you will receive your prints in time for Christmas.

Scotland Magazine is running my 10 Best Winter Walks article in their latest edition and have used 15 of my images to accompany their Highland regional focus

The photography workshops I have been running this year have been a real success. The group workshop on the 7th November is booked out but I am still running my 1-to-1 courses throughout the year. I am running a Winter promotion at the moment. As the hours of daylight are not so long at this time of year the cost of a one day 1-to-1 workshop is now £100.00 instead of £125.00. I have revamped the website a bit in the Gallery section and hopefully this will make it a bit easier for visitors to navigate their way around the site

Cicerone Press, who are one of the market leaders in the publication of guidebooks, have commissioned me to write and provide photographs for a guidebook on the Ayrshire and Arran Coastal Path. The book will tell you everything you need to know regarding the 164 mile route from what to see, where to stay, and the history of the region.

TGO is running an article of mine in their October edition

The Scots Magazine is running two of my articles in their latest edition - The Abbeys of Galloway and a photographic tour of Arran. They have also selected one of my images - Victoria Tower in Greenock - for their 2010 Calendar.

August 2009

Scotland Magazine is running my article, '10 Best Autumn Walks', in the latest edition of the magazine. They have also used seven of my images in their Dundee/Fife regional focus.

I have had an image selected for the 2010 John Muir Trust Diary which includes photographs from many of the UK's top photographers. I feel extremely privileged to have been included in this years diary. To view the diary as well as to find out the incredible work the trust does then go to www.johnmuir.co.uk. Amateur Photographer Magazine has run a feature using my images as to why Arran is one of Scotland's best photographic locations.

I have added some new images to the website. These can be found in the Latest Images section

With the continued success of my range of greetings cards I have now added another 4 kinds to the range. These can be bought directly from the website (look in the Gallery section) and the full range of cards can be found in around 40 shops around the Central Belt and Galloway

The Scots Magazine is running two articles of mine in their latest edition, one on the Island of Kerrera and a photo feature on Knapps Loch near Kilmacolm. They have also used my image of Edinburgh on the front cover.

I have a stall at the Stewartry Show near Castle Douglas on Thursday 6th of August. I will be selling my prints, calendars and greetings cards there and so if you want to come and have a look and a chat then please feel free.

My The Galloway Coastline Calendar 2010 is on sale NOW!!!. The calendar is 297mm x 210mm and has a lovely picture of the Galloway coastline for each month. They are printed litho to the highest standard and come shrink-wrapped and with its own envelope in case you wish to send it to family or friends. The calendar is priced at £5.50 which includes P+P. If you wish to order one through the website please go to the Calendar section of the website.

The calendar is also on sale in around 30 shops in Galloway including all of Dumfries & Galloway's Visitor information centres.

April 2009

My new book 'Portrait of the Galloway Coastline' is in the shops NOW!! priced £14.99. It has 144 pages with around 150 full colour images.

Following on from the release of my Galloway book, Halsgrove have commissioned me to produce my third book 'Portrait of the Ayrshire Coastline'. I have about a year to finish the images and so the book will hopefully be released around October 2010.

I will be signing copies of my new book 'Portrait of the Galloway Coastline' in Waterstones, Dumfries on Saturday 25th April between 11am-2pm and at the Old Bank Bookshop, Wigtown on Saturday 2nd May between 2.30-4.30pm. If you are in the area then pop in and I would be happy to chat.
